Mining rig room construction
I built this in my garage and ran a 100 amp sub panel so that I can mount up to 10 rigs in here. Was running out of my basement before but ran out of power and the wife said that the rigs need to go. Fans I'm using for airflow 8 Inch for supply https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006Z1JLN0/ref=twister_B01DVP9HE0?_encoding=UTF8&th=1 10 Inch for exhaust https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007ZU69DU/ref=twister_B01DVP9HE0?_encoding=UTF8&th=1

Mining Rig Room - Cooling issues resolved
Cooling issues have been taking care of for now. We shall see when next summer comes and it is 120 degrees out. I have the ability to use about 10kW in this room. Currently at around 6.5kW. In-line fans I am using https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007ZU69DU/ref=twister_B01DVP9HE0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 If I had to do it again would I do this? No. I would build a shed in the backyard specifically designed for the rigs so I could cut holes in the sides and have room to work with. And if I move it is portable. This took about 2 months from start to finish. It cost about as much as a 6 card rig to build.

ASUS PRIME Z270‑P - Mining rig assembly (Frankenstein)
Since I got into mining I bought a bunch of different brands of GPUs to benchmark before building out 12-13 gpu rigs. I found which ones ran the most stable and had the best Mhs/Watt Motherboard - ASUS PRIME Z270‑P https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-PRIME-Z270-P-LGA1151-Motherboard/dp/B01NAGY3C8 PSUs - I usually go for platinum or titanium but I bought these for like $70 on sale and couldn't turn down https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-Modular-Warranty-220-G2-0750-XR/dp/B00IKDETOW/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1506923427&sr=1-1&keywords=evga+gold+750w GPUs 1 x Asus Dual OC DUAL-GTX1070-08G - High consumption for average hashrate https://www.amazon.com/GeForce-Dual-fan-Gaming-Graphics-DUAL-GTX1070-O8G/dp/B01JHQSZ40/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1506923490&sr=1-1&keywords=asus+dual+oc+geforce+gtx+1070 2 x Gigabyte GV-N1070WF2OC-8GD - too expensive but very good mhs/Watt (32.5 - 33 Mh/s) https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GeForce-GDDR5-Windforce-GV-N1070WF2OC-8GD/dp/B01HHCA1IO/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1506923591&sr=1-1&keywords=Gigabyte+GV-N1070WF2OC-8GD 1 x PNY XLR8 VCGGTX10708XGPB-OC-BB - Not a bad card. Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 8GB Mining Driver
Was able to get out of the 28Mh/s range and back into the 30+ range. It wasn't as easy as install and go as the new drivers take a bit different speeds. I had to drop my GPU core clock to stock (1200) and I could still max out the memory as long as stable. This new driver also allows for lower power consumption. I'm just shy of 200 W less overall on my 8 x GPU rig. 1stminingrig tutorial for upgrading driver with all needed links http://1stminingrig.com/ethereum-dag-hashrate-drop-fix-amd-official-mining-drivers-are-now-out/ Memory Strap Mod I'm using in this video (Hynix 8GB Only) 777000000000000022AA1C00B56A6D46C0551017BE8E060C006AE6000C081420EA8900AB030000001B162C31C0313F17 RX series timings txt file - thx to Mattthev. https://mega.nz/#!h7pn0aCL!GjwuT54g-bKFFXIXfyadvZjA0cp6-zBPdCKfx0d8uQY Bios File https://mega.nz/#!I2Yk2C5R!Oo21NYz2e1upnS_8kBKDoCO-eHHuXaFetL3i3XwnYf8 Thank you!

12 GPU Mining Rig Frame Review
Purchased from Amazon for $169 (Included 10 fans) https://amzn.to/2rHA3dc There has to be better tech out there for assembling these rigs faster. I custom made my mining room shelves in less time that it took to put this guy together. Please comment below if you have built a rig that didn't use a thousand pieces and was quick to setup. Sorry for not posting lately, we moved and I sold off everything but my 8xRX580 and 12x1070Ti Rig. Have much more room to grow at the new place though, will be expanding once I recover from the move.

NVIDIA - Founders Edition GeForce GTX 1070
Okay so the special edition is what I added and that card doesn't actually exist. This card let me adjust up to 1000+ on the memory and it is stable with 33+Mhs.

Biostar TB250-BTC Pro - mining rig assembly
I had tested the room out for temp issues with 3 free standing rigs. Once I was confident the rigs wouldn't overheat I decided to mount a 12 gpu rig on the all. I am planning on mounting 5 more like it below. There should be 3 rows of 24 GPUs. When I hooked up the second molex power from my 2nd PSU the board smoked and wouldn't boot. I took out the CMOS battery and unhooked everything and still nothing. Waited for 30 minutes and it booted but I no longer have onboard video :(. I'm in the process of troubleshooting risers/gpus as it rebooted 44 times overnight. Here is the board https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138454 GPU https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-Compact-Graphics-ZT-P10700G-10M/dp/B01LLAJ8PU/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1506732867&sr=8-3-fkmr0&keywords=GTX+1070+amp+mini

ASRock H110 Pro BTC+ mining rig assembly
I had build this 13 x GTX 1060 rig a month ago and have been working on getting it stable for some time. I think the longest stable run time is about 4 days at this point. With the new room build I figure I would transfer it over as it fits perfectly on the top shelf next to my new 12 x GTX 1070 rig. Motherboard - can get cheaper on Newegg but I don't like them (RMA process is far inferior than amazon) https://www.amazon.com/ASRock-H110-BTC-Motherboard-CryptoCurrency/dp/B073S5YV3J/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1506920259&sr=8-4&keywords=pro+btc+motherboard GPUs https://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=06G-P4-6267-RX PSUs https://www.amazon.com/Seasonic-Flagship-TITANIUM-SSR-850TD-Titanium/dp/B01HXYRMME/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1506920348&sr=1-1-fkmr1&keywords=season+850w+titanium

Mining rigs - basement full!
This will be moving into my main mining rig room that I'm building out. ETA is about 1 week and I think I can have them all moved in. Wife wants me out of the basement. I guess the AC running 24/7 and fan noise is getting to her. Let alone the guest rooms are being used by "dumb" computers :)

MSI GTX 1070 Ti Titanium Review (Mining)
Unboxing and mining performance review of the MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Titanium edition. GTX 1070Ti GPU stats https://mega.nz/#!N3QmECYB!WJGoF7iI7sCX8_ca0yLLzY6gGfwXDnviAF8midAPlNQ This GPU performed averagely if not on the lower end of the 1070 Ti units I have tested. It is not a strong performer when it comes to the rest of the 1070 Ti's out there. You can get over 550 Sol/s with it if you turn the power up but what I'm looking for as a strong performer is a 1070 Ti that can pull 500+ at 110W. This will give you over 1000 Sol/s for around the 200 W mark which is what the 1080 Ti pulls. I'm starting to focus on efficiency as I have a limited space to work with in my home. I need the highest producing units. Lower power consumption = less heat and less money spent on electricity, faster ROI. If in the market for a 1070 Ti this one isn't special. If you can get them for $400 ish then I'd recommend.
