Those are the lyrics Daria Musk uses to describe her life before she became a global musical sensation via Google+ Hangouts in the summer of 2011. Just one year later, she is singing for some 2 million fans on Google+ alone, has performed live in cities around the world, and has changed the way people think about live concerts and global connectivity. Musk calls the phenomenon she created the "ripple effect," which she calls the "cure to viral." "It's not the viral spike of a cat video on YouTube," Musk says in this film about her dream-come-true journey. "The ripple effect is different than anything you've experienced on a social network or online. It's not a passive experience. It's not just re-sharing a video of something that's already happened." The ripple effect is inclusive, brings people together. The hundreds of thousands of people who watch Musk's live Google+ concerts, as well as the people in the "front row seats" of the Google+ Hangouts she uses to broadcast and connect, are participants in a real-time event, "and they have become new characters in my story, they are the plot twist in my life that I never saw coming." Few people were more blown away by Daria Musk's overnight success than Google+ engineering director Chee Chew, who shares his own insights in this film, recounting how Musk pushed the boundaries of Google+'s technical parameters, spurring Chew and his team to come up with tech upgrades on the fly. "It was an aha! moment," says Chew. The enhancements they made to Google+ Hangouts in the wake of Daria's revolutionary success have helped transform the feature into a virtual performance space where countless future artists can make their own ripples.

Austericide: 'Recession sparks HIV spikes & other deadly side effects'

Austerity in healthcare is a false economy as the immediate savings are outweighed by the huge spending required to cover the damage to people's heath in the future, Dr. David Stuckler of Oxford University told RT. Scientists at Oxford and Stanford Universities have brought to light the negative effect austerity measures have on health. They say spending cuts and mass lay-offs across Europe and North America are fueling a spike in suicide and depression. The academics behind the study believe the global financial crisis has caused as many as 10,000 to take their own lives. Bad Alternator Diode causing transmission/speedometer problems

08:24
Speedometer reads 20 mph in park. Transmission output speed sensor (vehicle speed sensor) codes. Transmission will not shift (2nd gear limp mode) from a bad alternator diode. Clean, strong alternator output is critical for vehicle electrical performance. Without it, you can run into all kind of strange symptoms that you may not necessarily associate with an alternator problem, and this case study is a perfect example. I also supply some general guidelines for ripple testing that can be applied to any make or model out there. Engine Performance Diagnostics chapter 1 page 27 Symptoms - speedometer moves off of zero with the vehicle stopped and in gear - check engine light (EGR fault code, unrelated) - transmission shifting problems Fix - replace the alternator (failed rectifier diode) Tests shown - how to check for AC ripple using a lab scope with AC coupling - identifying excessive AC ripple in a sensor voltage waveform - how to eliminate a failed alternator by disconnecting the control circuit - checking AC ripple at the alternator vs. at the battery Tools used - Autel MS908 MaxiSYS Automotive Diagnostic & Analysis System - USA Version https://www.jbtoolsales.com/autel-ms908-maxisys-automotive-diagnostic-analysis-system-usa-version#oid=1014_1 - PicoScope 4425 4 Channel Standard Diagnostic Kit http://www.aeswave.com/cart.php?m=affiliate_go&affiliateID=60df1b5cf6e5582af6ff81c728f42d0d&go=http://www.aeswave.com/PicoScope-4425-4-Channel-Standard-Diagnostic-Kit-p9276.html Playlist - (Chapter 1) Misfire ID, Compression Tests, Vacuum Leaks, Fuel Trim, Head Gasket, Restricted Exhaust, Low Power, DMM https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5E3AEC36DB838BB1 Related videos - How to test an Alternator (alternator not charging from a blown fuse) - Mazda https://youtu.be/--AdY8z1QfU - How to test an alternator (Chrysler Dodge Jeep) https://youtu.be/AvLbb48tQPw - Computer Controlled Alternator Testing - 2006 Mercury https://youtu.be/DHKF6v2QJhc - Battery keeps going dead (what to test before replacing) https://youtu.be/AA-vHbE1IA8 For more information on this topic, I have written a “field manual” called Engine Performance Diagnostics which is available at www.scannerdanner.com as an eBook or paper book. Mass Effect 3 Soundtrack Mix - The Future of the Galaxy [HD]

15:00
Mass Effect 3 Soundtrack Mix - The Future of the Galaxy [HD] This video was made by a big mass effect fan, who want that the next part (Mass effect 4) will be awesome! Sorry for my english. All Rights to the developer: EA and BioWare! Mass Effect 3, the third and final installment in the Mass Effect trilogy, was released on March 6, 2012. Casey Hudson commented that Mass Effect 3 "will be easier [to develop] because we don't have to worry about continuity into the next one." However, decisions will still be imported from the two previous titles to Mass Effect 3, as to keep continuity within the series.[29] In the final chapter of the trilogy, the Reapers have returned in force, and have begun their purge of the galaxy, attacking the human home world of Earth. During this attack Commander Shepard is on Earth and forced to flee. After fleeing Earth, Commander Shepard must hurry and rally the advanced races of the galaxy to make one final stand, not only to save Earth, but also to break a cycle that has continued for millions of years. Casey Hudson stated in an interview at the Consumer Electronics Show that Mass Effect 3 would complete the story arc of Commander Shepard, and would pull in over 1,000 variables from Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 to shape how players experience the final chapter. The first official trailer was unveiled on December 11, 2010 during the Spike TV Video Game Awards

Transcript below... This video, I'm going to be sharing with you the truth about your dreams and understanding exactly what you are really doing when you go to bed at night. Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now in this video I'm going to be sharing with you what I think is happening when we go to bed at night. I'm going to share with you a new perspective that I've never really shared on the channel before. Maybe a little bit. I've talked a little bit in recent videos about the possibility that we live in a simulated reality and the same way that we may put on a vr virtual reality helmet and look out and actually think that we are there at the very early stages of Vr that we are right now. It's highly possible that in 10, 15 years we won't know the difference between what is real and when we put on a vr set. If that is real. So because of that, what is to say that at a higher level of consciousness, we haven't already done that in. This kind of goes into what I'll be talking about when it comes to dreams, but I think honestly this is a very enlightening idea. It's something that makes me feel good knowing that we are so much more than we can priorly imagine knowing that our dreams are not just some little side effect of our subconscious mind, which that could be one aspect of it. However, I think there's so much more that's actually happening and I'm going to share with you a little bit about what I think that is. Now. First off, let me say that I believe that it is possible that we live in a simulated reality. Now, this is something Elan Musk actually said. Elon Musk quoted and said that he believes that the chances that this reality, this reality that we experience, the chances that this is the baseline reality, meaning the true reality. He says, he believes that the chances of that are less than a fraction of one percent. He said, pretty much that we live in a simulated reality now. This is something that when I first heard, I was like, hm. I thought it was a little bit weird, but then I did some research on it and I looked up different perspectives to this and I realized, well, what actually I realized when I actually tried a vr system for myself, and I've shared this story a couple of times. Basically my cousin came over. I was at my dad's house and we were having like a family event. He brought over his ps three. We put on this Vr headset and you look around and you're actually believing that you're there because as you look, you're fueled of perception goes with you. There are sounds. Uh, I was in an underwater cage thing and I was looking around at fish that were swimming by. And then a shark came by and a shark bit out. This case that I was sinking down in and I actually thought the shark was going to get me. Even though I knew it was a game, it's still spikes the cortisol. Then I looked over the edge after he busted this thing out of the cage and I was looking over the ledge up real far down into the abyss and it was something that felt very real and I realized at that moment that if I'm already feeling this way and we're at the first very, very, very beginning on stages of virtual reality, imagine the potential. So when Elon Musk said that, I said, yeah, what if at a higher level dimension of consciousness we have decided to log in to the game of life to have certain experiences. Now, here's what I believe is happening in our dream state. When we go to bed at night when we say I'm going to go sleep, what we are actually doing is we are sleeping are quote unquote Avatar, quote unquote, or kind of the the vessel. We used to play this game and we're waking up at a higher level of consciousness. So many times what we do is what I believe. I'm doing a dream state as I'm actually doing things in higher dimensions and I believe you're doing the same thing. Not that I'm special. I'm just aware of it and there are times I remember some of these things. Now here's the thing, the higher.. What is DIFFRACTION SPIKE? What does DIFFRACTION SPIKE mean? DIFFRACTION SPIKE meaning & explanation

03:14
What is DIFFRACTION SPIKE? What does DIFFRACTION SPIKE mean? DIFFRACTION SPIKE meaning & explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. Diffraction spikes are lines radiating from bright light sources in photographs. They are artifacts caused by light diffracting around the support vanes of the secondary mirror in reflecting telescopes, or edges of non-circular camera apertures. In the vast majority of reflecting telescope designs, the secondary mirror has to be positioned at the central axis of the telescope and so has to be held by struts within the telescopes tube. No matter how fine these support rods are they diffract the incoming light from a subject star and this appears as diffraction spikes which are the Fourier transform of the support struts. The spikes represent a loss of light that could have been used to image the star. Although diffraction spikes can obscure parts of a photograph and are undesired in professional contexts, some amateur astronomers like the visual effect they give to bright stars – the "Star of Bethlehem" appearance – and even modify their refractors to exhibit the same effect, or to assist with focusing when using a CCD. A small number of reflecting telescopes designs avoid diffraction spikes by placing the secondary mirror off-axis. Early off-axis designs such as the Herschelian and the Schiefspiegler telescopes have serious limitations such as astigmatism and long focal ratios, which make them useless for research. The brachymedial design by Ludwig Schupmann, which uses a combination of mirrors and lenses, is able to correct chromatic aberration perfectly over a small area and designs based on the Schupmann brachymedial are currently used for research of double stars. There are also a small number of off-axis unobstructed all-reflecting anastigmats which give optically perfect images. Refracting telescopes and their photographic images do not have the same problem as their lenses are not supported with spider vanes. Iris diaphragms with moving blades are used in most modern camera lenses to restrict the light received by the film or sensor. While manufacturers attempt to make the aperture circular for a pleasing bokeh, its shape tends towards a polygon with the same number of sides as blades when stopped down to high f-numbers (small apertures). Diffraction spreads out light waves passing through the aperture perpendicular to the roughly-straight edge, each edge yielding two spikes 180° apart. As the blades are uniformly distributed around the circle, on a diaphragm with an even number of blades, the diffraction spikes from blades on opposite sides overlap. Consequently, a diaphragm with n? blades yields n? spikes if n? is even, and 2n? spikes if n? is odd.

Set in the fantasy world of Tyria, the game follows the re-emergence of Destiny's Edge, a disbanded guild dedicated to fighting the Elder Dragons, a Lovecraftian species that has seized control of Tyria in the time since the original Guild Wars. The game takes place in a persistent world with a story that progresses in instanced environments. Guild Wars 2 claims to be unique in the genre by featuring a storyline that is responsive to player actions, something which is common in single player role-playing games but rarely seen in multiplayer ones. A dynamic event system replaces traditional questing, utilising the ripple effect to allow players to approach quests in different ways as part of a persistent world. Also of note is the combat system, which aims to be more dynamic than its predecessor by promoting synergy between professions and using the environment as a weapon, as well as reducing the complexity of the Magic-style skill system of the original game. As a sequel to Guild Wars, Guild Wars 2 features the same lack of subscription fees that distinguished its predecessor from other commercially developed online games of the time, though until August 2015 a purchase was still required to install the game. As reported by NCsoft and ArenaNet, by September 13 (about 2 weeks after launch), despite temporarily halting first-party sales, the game has sold over 2 million copies. By August 2013, the peak player concurrency had reached 460,000. By August 2015, over 5 million copies had been sold, at which point the base game became free-to-play. In this tutorial, you create the arrow that travels on a path and appears to be causing the water ripples. In fact, the arrow only gives the illusion of creating the ripples. The object that is actually creating the ripples is a simple sphere that you animate to follow the same path and that you set to be non-renderable. Double Slit Experiment explained! by Jim Al-Khalili

09:08
"If you can explain this using common sense and logic, do let me know, because there is a Nobel Prize for you.." Professor Jim Al-Khalili explains the experiment that reveals the "central mystery of quantum mechanics" - the double slit experiment. Watch the full lecture here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwgQVZju1ZM Sometimes called the "two-slit" or "Young's" experiment, it demonstrates that matter and energy can display the characteristics of both waves and particles, establishing the principle known as wave-particle duality. Furthermore, it questions the role of the observer in the outcome of events and demonstrates the fundamental limitation of an observer to predict experimental results. For this reason, Richard Feynman called it "a phenomenon which is impossible ... to explain in any classical way, and which has in it the heart of quantum mechanics. In reality, it contains the only mystery [of quantum mechanics]," (see more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double-slit_experiment). Crkt ripple 400kxp vs Crkt ripple k415kxp

06:52
This is a comparison between the Walmart crkt ripple against the more expensive smaller framelock version CRKT 400KXP Ken Onion Ripple 2, Charcoal Handles, PlainEdge. In their first collaboration, Ken Onion and CRKT introduce their Ripple series of folding frame locks with premium stainless steel build and a stiction-free IKBS ball-bearing pivot. This knife is noteworthy for its exceptional manufacturing quality, premium stainless steel build, plus an almost unbelievable silky smooth and fast opening action thanks to the use of the IKBS internal knife ball bearing system. The modified drop point blade has a high hollow grind, swedged top edge, a high satin finish and Razor-Sharp cutting edge. Steel is premium Acuto, stainless, noted for its high chromium and molybdenum content and hardness of 59-60 HRC. It is instantly opened by pressing the blade flipper with either hand. For safety while closed, the blade has a ball detent. Even the best conventional blade pivot bearings have some degree of friction which resists initial movement, or "stiction." In contrast, the Ripple blade opening action is almost friction-free due to the IKBS ball bearing system. This innovative and simple design places eight uncaged ball bearings on each side of the blade pivot in races which are machined into the stainless steel handle. It is compact and adjustable at the blade pivot screw if ever needed. Not only is opening and closing exceptionally smooth, the IKBS system is durable and requires little maintenance, and yields a folder with great rigidity and no blade play. This Ripple models are frame lock open build knives with stainless steel frames. In typical Ken Onion attention to detail, the frame lock does not create an unsightly gap in the right frame, but its cut is neatly integrated into the grip design of the frame, which is CNC machined with a complex 'ripple' textured pattern plus 44 small lightening holes. The Ripple KX400 receives a black titanium nitride coating, which we then hand buff to give a pocket worn look, that is to lightly reveal the underlying stainless steel on the high points. The Ripple BX400 achieves the same effect, but with a blue titanium nitride finish. Both models feature a removable stainless steel mirror polished pocket clip, high-mounted, and also with small CNC-drilled holes. This knife combines brilliant design, custom knife quality, and advanced manufacturing technology. Specifications Blade Length: 2.70" Overall Length: 6.50" Weight: 2.3 oz. CRKT and noted knife designer Ken Onion are proud to introduce the Aluminum Ripple™ K415KXP folding edc knife. The Ripple is noteworthy for its exceptional manufacturing quality, plus an almost unbelievable silky smooth and fast opening action thanks to the use of the IKBS internal knife ball-bearing system. The modified drop point blade has a high hollow grind, swedged top edge, and a high satin finish. Blade Steel is 8CR14Mov high carbon stainless steel with an HRC rating of 57-59. The blade is instantly opened by pressing the blade flipper with either hand. For safety while closed, the blade has a ball detent. Even the best conventional blade pivot bearings have some degree of friction which resists initial movement, or "stiction." In contrast, the Ripple blade opening action is almost friction-free due to the IKBS ball-bearing system. This innovative and simple design places ball bearings built into the stainless pivot screw. It is compact and adjustable at the blade pivot screw if ever needed. Not only is opening and closing exceptionally smooth, the IKBS system is durable and requires little maintenance, and yields a folder with great rigidity and no blade play. The Ripple K415KXP model has locking liner. In typical Ken Onion attention to detail, the aluminum handles are CNC machined with over 40 lightening holes and small ripples. The handles are then hard anodized black and then the top of the ripples are polished off to create a pocket worn finish. Ken Onion designed the stainless steel clip so it tucks away nicely in your pocket for every day carry and easy access. This knife combines brilliant design, custom knife quality, and advanced manufacturing technology in true Ken Onion fashion. Been Around The World - Cracker (1998) ~MetalGuruMessiah~

05:26
"Been Around The World" was released in the summer of 1998 on Cracker's fourth record, Gentleman's Blues. David Lowery and this band have done some awfully fine work and some of their songs, such as this one, have been favorites of mine since I first heard them. I was a huge fan of Camper Van Beethoven, David's band prior to Cracker, back in the 80's (Our Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart and (especially) Key Lime Pie are among my favorite albums of that decade. I remember picking up Cracker's debut record and hoping to hear CBV 2....very surprised to find it very different, and though it didn't equal CVB's best, the band would very shortly create some music that matched that earlier brilliance when they released their second album, Kerosene Hat. (They slipped with The Golden Age, but came back strong with Gentleman's Blues....and were back to their best with Forever.) As for the video, I'd actually been working on another song from this record ("Seven Days"....and also another Cracker tune "Sunday Train" from Garage d'Or (which "Been Around The World" was also featured on), and since I was stalled on those two, I decided to lay down some foundation for "Been Around The World"....ended up being one of those vids that once I started and didn't touch anything else till it was completed (two very late weekend nights...actually most of the weekend days as well, now that I think about it!? LOL!). I didn't spend much time on image selection or manipulation, and rather focused most of my energy on working keyframes to that amazing driving beat....like a freight train coming at ya! I wish I'd had the energy to give it one more pass, since there are still some masks slipping and several keyframe timing issues where the movement of the image is too slow for the beat, but man....lotsa work for a pretty obscure track...it's still one amazingly awesome tune though and no matter how many times I played it during the production of the video, my head never stopped bobbing! ;-) Hope it has the same effect on you...and you enjoy the video! [Lyrics] Well is it am such a sin to linger with the magazines I want a chocolate bar made with something sweet I want a stranger with your face So I followed her to this place It's been so long - I've been around the world am I say hello to howie, say hello to spike 'cause the canals in camden are filled with bottles tonight To watch the ripples fade away To feel the rain upon my head So I could say, I've been around the world And how I wish I was in your apartment tonight To hear the rain come down, down upon your roof To see your clothes beside, clothes beside your bed To lightly listen to your breath Instead, I've been, I've been around the world Break And how I wish I was in your bed tonight To taste the salt upon, salt upon your neck To feel your body press, pressing down on me Instead of being, I've been around the world Yeah I've been around, I've been around the world am Yeah I've been around, I've been around the world am Break x3 (fade on third)

Binance tutorial: How to buy altcoins and withdraw cash

How to buy bitcoin and withdraw in cash - binance , bittrex, poloniex, luno, remitano, nigeria, india with cash, credit card, verve card.Using the app Coinbase, we ventured to buy and sell bitcoin, the popular cryptocurrency whose cost has seen massive spikes in recent weeks. Bitcoin hit a record high of nearly $18,000 per coin on Friday, December 15. Two years ago, the idea of buying the virtual currency even at that price was laughable. After a rapid rise in value in 2013, the cryptocurrency's value more than halved by mid-2015. At its lowest point, one bitcoin was equal to about $230. Given the currency's covert nature, the average person still may not understand how buying and selling actually works. Using the app Coinbase, which lets anyone trade bitcoins for a small fee, we decided to find out. A brief warning: If you're going to do this, tell your bank you're about to buy bitcoin. More on that later. And to read more about blockchain, the technology powering bitcoin, click here. This is what the Coinbase app looks like on an iPhone. Dr. Stan Monteith w/ James Perloff New Book - Truth Is a Lonely Warrior (2013)

Truth Is a Lonely Warrior: Unmasking the Forces behind Global Destruction (2013) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0966816021/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=0966816021&linkCode=as2&tag=libert0f-20 Twenty-five years after publication of The Shadows of Power, James Perloff returns to the venue of political history, and takes you where the mass media won't. * Who benefited from the mysterious sinking of the USS Maine? * Why did President Woodrow Wilson order the manifest of the torpedoed Lusitania hidden in the archives of the U.S. Treasury? * After the official inquiry into the Pearl Harbor attack, why did Admiral Kimmel and General Short - the commanders at Pearl Harbor - want to be court-martialed? * Why was the Soviet Union given control of North Korea after World War II, when the Soviets did nothing to win the war in the Pacific? * What did Congressional Medal of Honor recipient James Stockdale reveal about Tonkin Gulf (the event used to justify intervention in Vietnam)? * How did "Operation Rockingham" lead America into the Iraq war? * Since its founding in 1921, what small organization has produced 21 Secretaries of Defense/War, 19 Treasury Secretaries, 18 Secretaries of State, and 16 CIA directors? * How did Jimmy Carter go from a generally unknown figure to Presidential nominee in just seven months? * Why has America had decades of destructive inflation (understated recently by the Consumer Price Index), when there was zero NET inflation from the days of the Pilgrims until the early 20th century? * Why did the Vietnam War last 14 years - and end in defeat - when it took us only 3 and ½ years to win World War II? * What did the head of the Ford Foundation tell Congressional investigator Norman Dodd that made him "nearly fall off the chair"? * Is it possible that many kings and other monarchs of past centuries were not as evil as they've been portrayed? * What American capitalists were given landing rights for their private jets in Moscow - at the height of the Cold War? * What KGB defector predicted glasnost five years in advance - yet was ignored by the major media? * Who is at the top of the pyramid on the back of the dollar bill? * Why was the USS Liberty attacked in 1967, and why was there no Congressional investigation? * The official explanation of 9-11 - where do we BEGIN to name the holes? * Were the Beatles a set-up? * Who financed ecumenism and the decline of Christian faith? * What are world elitists saying about population control? * What are courageous doctors revealing about vaccines that the major media won't report? * Does weather control go beyond seeding clouds? What is behind the recent spike in weather disasters? * How did the Establishment trick conservatives into supporting its "free trade" agenda, destroying millions of U.S. jobs? * Who's pouring billions of dollars into the "green" movement? * 1984 - the amazing ways in which Orwell got the future right. * And how does ALL this tie together? If you are one of those who senses that something just isn't right with the explanations we are given for wars, our dying economy, and other world events, this book may be just right for you. Countless lies have been planted in the corporate-controlled media to benefit the rich and the few; these lies have become "fact" through the mechanism of frequent repetition. Refuting such lies with credibility requires in-depth analysis. Therefore, beware of reviews of this book which attempt to debunk it by pulling a sentence or idea out of context. Read the book for yourself.
