Water's Promise

213 ratings | 118112 views
Water today is undervalued, misused and misallocated. Too many of us take it for granted - we turn on the tap and it flows. But did you know only 4% of Earth’s water is freshwater and only 0.5% of that is safe for human consumption? As shocks of drought and deluge unleash their devastation, water has forced itself to center stage. It demands that we change fundamentally; it asks that we value it profoundly. Do you value water? Join the High Level Panel on Water to keep the promise of #ivaluewater.

Can one use this video for campaigns? 18 - 23 is National Water Week here in South Africa and as the world knows the situation with Cape Town, we as society must help to save water.

This is an excellent video, but the promises and solutions need to be realistic.  The realistic fulfillment of this promise requires people to stop living where there is not enough clean fresh water to sustain them and stop growing populations in places where there is not enough water for continued growth.  We don't have a water problem, we have a global population problem.

This is an excellent video. But people who take the decision to the higher position of the government don't pay attention to this ad and continue destroying our big house. Population most work together to protect water resources in our contries.

I have not seen a realistic video of this kind for a long time, this makes us realize that we are very lucky to just open a key and have water to drink and we do not even appreciate it
