Urban Climate Project - Climate Change Resources - Esri Climate Resilience App Challenge 2014

10 ratings | 1008 views
For practicing planners, the Urban Climate Project is intended to function as a decision support tool, where cities of similar size, climatic characteristics, development trajectories, or demographic composition can easily locate successful (or unsuccessful) approaches to both mitigation and adaption strategies. For researchers, Open Climate provides access to a curated list of primary and secondary data sets, scientific reports, and analytic tools. It also provides a forum to connect leading ideas with those who can take action through policy and intervention. http://geodesign.newschool.edu/c40cities/ http://gis.newschool.edu This site is a collaboration between Aalborg University, PIIM, the Parsons The New School for Design, and the Urban Climate Change Research Network. *Tears* something a little more simple is what I'm doing as my masters dissertion, but it involves GIS, Urban health and climate change. Your channel has been my life saver. So thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.

+Lilibutter I'm glad this was helpful!  I'd be curious to learn more about your dissertation once complete too - good luck with wrapping it up!
