You have to bind it to the IP of your host, it's in the config file. Change and restart the service.

Thanks for the tutorial. Could you make a tutorial on how to pull data from Web with Python, writing it to RethinkDB and extracting it back to Python in order to work with it?

Macgyver Macgyver I have already wrote a draft code that extracts data every minute. Now I'm struggling with using it with websocket. The idea is to use stream from cryptocompare.com's websocket api https://www.cryptocompare.com/api/#-api-web-socket- and compare these streamed prices with those stored already in Rethinkdb. My code stores minute data and it'd be great to compare it with the steamed price and issue an alert if for example streamed price is 2 std deviations more than the stored price. I can direct you to the code I have written already if need. Thanks

+kuatroka can you elaborate on this request a bit. It sounds like you want more info using the Python driver with RethinkDB..
