0:57 - because the rent/house in the city centre is expensive, not proportionate to the earnings of the average working class people. 1:03 - yes but who wouldnt complain when the bus is stuck in the traffic jam, always late and not on schedule (which is due to traffic), very crowded with not so fresh air (the aircond sometimes is not strong enough). One would tend to choose the comfort of their car rather than being stuck in a smelly overcrowded bus thats never on time.
