hello Adam, can you also make video discussing about 0 bid versus ask. I bought stock, at first there are 3 bids then went all the way to 0 bid. when my stocks went up still there is 0 bid and could not sell it anymore because no one bids. thanks

Adam great job I watched tens of hours of your content already and I praise you for what you do although I've got a couple of questions regarding this video: At 14:57 you say it's bullish pin bar but in fact it is bearish pin bar isn't it and you say you are entering the market going long but how can you do that if there is no confirmation of other candle after that bearish candle which should be bullish if you want to go along. And that would be classic morning star patter right? From what I learnt from you from previous videos I would have set there stop loss just below that bearish pin candle and set the buy order just above the next candle which in this case should be the bullish one can I ask you to comment on this because it was a bit confusing in your video thanks very much in advance

What types of things would you use to trade high spread currency pairs, or what types of "filters/indicators"? I want to trade high spread pairs. Is there a way to trade high spread pairs?

Hi Adam, your videos are indeed knowledgeable. I just want to confirm in short trade for take profit showd we subtract(minus) 1 pip or add one pip as you said in video?
Kevin Parsley (6 months ago)
most people dont know they are looking at a bid chart and placing their orders for buying (needs an ask chart) and selling on the same chart. they really shouldnt be faulted though. EVERY technical analysis tutorial instructs to do that. today, for gpbjpy, the bottom of the curve on the ask chart was the same value as the top of the curve on the bid chart. of course, both charts have the same shape to mask how far apart the values are.

Very good tutorial Mr. Adam. I just confuse with pip. Is pip refer to the amount of profit? Is the pip in the spread similar to pip for profit? I'm a beginner in forex trading. Could you explain more detail because if less pip, less profit. Thanks.

Would it be correct to say that the Brokers charge 2 times to us traders? If I buy they charge me a spread because of using the ASKrice. But when I get out, either manually, hitting my SL or my TP, they use the BID price, which means I am paying a spread 2 times?? Once I have been stopped out by a spread of more than 50 pips on the change of the daily candle. Spreads went up and down in less than a second, while I had my SL already positive.. I did lose anyway because of the spread. So in that particular case they may have charged 2 pips entering the trade and 50 more exiting the trade. Would that be correct ??

Be grateful for the content he uploads. Its suppose to be a teaser for his paid course. Guys content of this level shouldn't be free... Everyone wants or expects a handout or lending hand but thats not realistic and not how business is done.

Also, the bid and ask price I see in the main candlestick chart is different from the quotes when I open an order for Halifax pro demo account. Is this additional spread in the quotes (when I open the orders window) due to it being a demo account, or are there any other reasons for that? The demo account wouldn't be of any use if that's the case. Or are there any settings I'm missing out on?
Leon Chan (9 months ago)
Thank you for the sharing, Adam. Plesse do help me clear up my confusion though. In your 11 pips SL and 22 pips TP e.g., the actual SL calculation you showed was 10 pips instead of 11. And if my TP were 22 pips, it would be the price before factoring the spread. Wouldn't my actual R be < 2? Should we use the candlestick prices for SL and TP calculation and simply add 1 pip (if that's the spread) for actual selling price we input in broker platform, or should we use the actual price we input into broker platforms as the 1R, 2R price level?
